Look, the Ford Aspire was a lot of things, some of them good. But one thing it was not, was aspirational. Unless your aspiration was to own literally any car.
Sometimes it seems like carmakers are stretching to name a new model, sometimes it seems like they drew a name out of a hat, but often the result is a name that writes checks the car itself cannot cash.
So, we have the Aspire, but what other car name oversells, or even undersells the actual car to which the badge is attached?
