I love a good daydream. Everyday life can just be so boring and constricting. It’s good to let the ol’ noggin run wild for a little bit, fantasizing about the things we want if we lived in a different world. That’s sort of what led us to our question from Monday.

We wanted to know what vehicles you would have in your dream four-car garage if money was no object. Let me just say this right off the bat, you folks have a very strange imagination. We’ve got all sorts of weird mixes and matches in here. In some ways, I appreciate the lack of cohesion in these collections, but in other ways, I think I’d really have enjoyed more themes. That being said, it’s not like it matters! These are your four-car garages, and you can do whatever the hell you want with them.

I’ll just say this: I hope at least one of you is able to realize your four-car garage dream one day. At least one Jalop deserves to be happy, don’t you think? Anyway, why don’t ya start clicking to see what cars your fellow commenters would have in their quad-garage?

Rich To Poor

Rich To Poor

Land Rover LR4
Photo: Land Rover

My realistic four-car dream garage is:

- 2022-2024 MINI Convertible S or JCW

- 2015 Land Rover LR4 HSE Lux w/ HD Package

- 2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG S 63 Coupe

- 1996 Jaguar XJ12

I already have the Jag and the Land Rover; I just need the other two.

Listen I know this is a money-no-object scenario, but even if these cars were all free you’d still go bankrupt from the maintenance alone.

Blue Boy

Honda Prelude

- 06 WRX STI in WRB

- 97 Prelude Type SH in Electric Blue

- Mk5 Supra in Rapid Blue

- ND2 Miata in Soul Red(or NA in Mariner blue, I can’t decide)

Honorable mention is a Wrangler 392. I’d probably get bored with it too fast to include as a dream car. It’s more a bucket list car.

Amigo, you know there are other colors, right? You must, so why not spice it up a little? Throw a red in there.

Actually Good?

Actually Good?

Alfa Romeo GTV
Photo: Alfa Romeo

As others have noted this could easily change in a matter of hours:

-2024 Radical SR3 XXR

-2024 Ford F-150 STX to tow said Radical to the track and as family vehicle and when it snows

-1974 Alfa Romeo GTV

- 2024 Porsche 718 Cayman GTS (daily driver)

I like the way you think, friend. This is actually a very reasonable four-car garage. However, you can probably step up to a nicer trim of the F-150. Live a little.

I Like The Way You Think

I Like The Way You Think

Ford Fiesta ST

Daily Driver - Ford Fiesta ST

Perfect balance of fun and economy.

Family Car - Koenigsegg Gemera

Seats 4 comfortably, and with the optional roof rack, plenty of cargo space for trips and vacations.

Fun Car - 1964 Shelby Cobra CSX2XXX series with the 289.

Sure, the CSX3xxx was “Cooler”, but this is the original series that won the GT Championship with the 289 V8, providing the perfect amount of power, while still keeping the car drivable.

Transporter - Shelby Car Transporter

Might as well take the Cobra to the track in style.

You’ve got a good head on your shoulders, my man

8 Memorable Star Wars X-wing & TIE Fighter Moments | Disney+

While this is supposed to be a “four car” garage, Amber did include a motorcycle. If money is no barrier then my garage shall be:

T-65B X-Wing

A Jakku-sourced, home-built speeder bike

HCV Juggernaut Transporter

I don’t need a fourth.

Wild that you’d list this shit but not the Millenium Falcon. Are you weird? I don’t want weirdos in my comments.

Shoot For The Stars

Shoot For The Stars

Lamborghini Miura
Photo: Lamborghini

Normally I’d say a nice replica of a Shelby Daytona Coupe, but if price/availability are no object, then I’ll pick its weirder/rarer cousin, AC A98.

I live on a farm, so I need a truck. A Mercury M-47 will do nicely.

I need a DD that’s fun and practical but not so exotic that I’m scared to leave it in a Walmart parking lot. So, obviously, a Saab 900 SPG in Beryl Green.

I don’t have anything mid-engine or open-air, so. . . how about the world’s only targa Miura.

You have expensive taste. Good, but expensive. Lean into that, go get yourself the only targa Miura in real life.

They Make New Cars, You Know?

They Make New Cars, You Know?

Austin Healey Sprite
Photo: Austin Healey

My dream garage is not realistic:

Austin Healey Sprite Mark I (Bugeye, any year)

Ferrari 250 GTO (I would prefer one with the three ducts on the hood)

Plymouth Superbird (or Dodge Charger Daytona)

BMW Bavaria (1971-1973).

My dream garage is always changing, if you ask me tomorrow, I would give you a different answer, but it would be heavily skewed towards the cars of my youth.

Nothing here is very practical because, if I had enough money to indulge my car whims, I would pay someone else to handle mundane chores like daily driving.

You’re a fan of the classics, I see.

No One Dreams Of A Cadillac CT6

No One Dreams Of A Cadillac CT6

Ferrari 458 Italia
Photo: Ferrari

This is brutal, because I’m balancing 4 cars that would actually fit in my life vs. genuine *dream* cars. Best shot is:

1. Ferrari 250 California

2. Ferrari 458

3. (Winner of a heads-up comparo of the best remaining Lincoln Continetal/Caddy CT6 out there. Might even include a new Volvo S90. You get the vibe I’m going for here.)

4. 1st Gen K5 Blazer (this is kind of a rotating spot for whatever is tickling my fancy at the moment. It could be a C5 Vette in 6 months, and then a ‘70 Challenger in another 6.)

You are so strange for even mentioning the CT6.

A Wide Range

Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution
Photo: Mitsubishi

1. Keeping my Lancer Evo in the mix, this year will be our 10 year anniversary =)

2. Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution because a 2 door SUV with a 4G63 is what all crossovers should have been

3. 1971 Barracuda, I always loved the look of this muscle car

4. Mercedes GT Black series. We actually had the prototype car for 3 years as our test vehicle. absolutely adored that car, the looks, the way it sounds, handles, and worked flawlessly throughout it’s tests at 1xx,xxx miles.

This is a very chaotic list of four cars. I appreciate that.

Alms For The Poor

Alms For The Poor

Oldsmobile Toronado
Photo: Oldsmobile

I’m a big fan of orphan car makes, so....

#1 - 1966 Olds Toronado which represents GM at their peak IMO. Also in memory of my Uncle Jack, who owned SEVEN Toronados of various model years over the span of 20 years.

#2 - 1964-71 Pontiac GTO, although I am partial to the ‘67s.

#3 - Plymouth Prowler. Yes, it only has a V6; yes, it has an automatic transmission. But most people who bitch about its deficits have probably never driven one. I have and for what it is, the HP is sufficient, and my left leg is no longer up to working a clutch.

Besides, I like the styling and it turns heads, so fuck-off, haters.

#4 - Something from the ‘50s with tailfins - Plymouth, Desoto, Mercury, maybe even a Packard would be an option if I can find someone who would work on it. Possibly a ‘55 Mercury Montclair convertible, like my father once owned.

#5 - 1970 AMC Javelin, ‘cause AMC doesn’t get enough love and I’m sure i could squeeze one more car into my garage.

First of all, these companies died for a reason. Second of all, counting is not that hard.
